We have a mortgage on our rented house with KBC that was converted to interest only when we moved out years ago. Renewal time is next month but KBC say they are only offering interest only to owners in financial difficulty.
Anyone know if this is a trend...not looking forward to the whole rigmarole of moving the mortgage but we would rather stay interest only. Mortgage is about 1/3 of current market value. Mortgage on our home is also with KBC but is a standard variable type one. We have significantly less equity in that one but still better than being in the red!
