Kbc closing branches today

Kbc are closing all branches today at 5pm, how did the regulator allow them leave the country, with customers waiting years to get their tracker redress cases adjudication from the ombudsman

I dont understand how the Regulator is allowing this to happen when there are hundreds of customers who are still waiting on the regulator to deal with the Tracker redress that we are due, this is typical Ireland..

Only thing closing is the physical retail stores which were primarily sales hubs. No use for them now as all accounts have been transferred or closed and they are not taking new business.

A few years ago they didn't have these sales hubs.

Their head office is still open.

Can someone please explain something in relation to the transfer of mortgages from KBC to Bank of Ireland. When one's mortgage transfers over, does the Bank of Ireland hold all the files, deeds etc . in relation to one's mortgage.
Can someone please answer this.
