Hi,

I'm new to all this so be patient please

I'm just at the early stages of separating with my husband.. and kind of panicing about the future..

Can anyone tell me if i can get any benefits or if there is a website i can go to find out.

hi i no what u going though i just separated from my hubby 6 months now and to kids u just have to go speak to socal welfare peaple and they will help u i dont work i stay at home so i aplad for lone parent and get my rent paid and medacal cards 4 kids

Hello there, definately go to citizens advise bureau they are really helpful.
Also it might not be a bad idea to register with the Legal Aid Board if you are going down the legal route. Again the Dept of Family and Social Affairs website is pretty comprehensive.
Its a long road, but dont lose heart. You will get there in the end. Good luck.
