Junkers produce a top quality board, I've got a wideboard oak variation in my living room and it is clipped. Top quality boards made fitting easy. I think it's pretty spectacular but most people just see it as an oak floor with some nice knots and variation.
That said I've got a family room floored with €25 sq yard solid oak and it worked out fine also.
If you like a totally uniform look accross the boards and want solid wood then junkers produce some real quality floors especially if your going for a darker wood. Of course something like walnut IMO needs some variation in the floor and looks false if you have total consistency across the floor but once again it's all personal opinion.
