JSA + Occasional work as self-employed

I recently finished stuying. I am unemployed. I am on JSA and housing benefit. If I work 3 hours pw as a self-employed and earn £60 pw, would my benefits change? Is there a chance my income will increase or will I effectively work for nothing? Thanks.

I assume from your use of the term "housing benefit" that you're in the UK? Just to point out that this is an Irish based site, so you may not get an answer to your query.

The eligibility criteria for jobseekers is that you are "available for and genuinely seeking full-time work". If you are considering being self-employed you would not meet the above eligibility criteria.... hence benefits would be lost. Also, the household benefit package is a means tested based based on household income.
