Hi, I have a mortgage that I had jointly taken out with my mother who passed away 5 years ago. I have recently been offered an interest only period and signed a letter of variation last week. Today I have received a call from my bank asking for my brothers to sign the letter also has they are executors of the will. They are not guarantors on the mortgage and have never had anything to do with the mortgage. Can someone please explain why they would need to sign this? Thank you.
