I have a joint bank account with a relative and they have be diagnosed with demensia can the HSE have a claim on it for there care as I am worried that they could claim my share as well.
Usually joint bank deposit accounts are payable to the survivor in event of death of one party. You mention "your share" and perhaps you should consider putting "your share" into your sole name should this be possible.
