M Maybrick Registered User Messages 114 10 Nov 2015 #1 Hello, I am making a joint assessment tax return. I am self-employed and my spouse is a PAYE worker. When filling out the section for my wife, there are spaces to enter her gross income, PAYE tax deducted and USC - but not PRSI. Can anyone please tell me if I am missing something? I am concerned that this is increasing the final tax figure I have to pay. Any help gratefully received.

J Jon Snow Guest 11 Nov 2015 #2 You're not missing anything, the Form 11 assumes the employer has operated the correct amount of PRSI on any employment income. If you look at the calculation part of the form, you'll see it doesn't calculate PRSI on that amount of income either.
