John MCCormack Avenue - Walkinstown

Hi All
Looking at houses in Kimmage, Crumlin, Terenure - broader D6, D12 areas.

Has been suggested that we look in Walkinstown also but
I don't Walkinstown well other than Cromswellfort road.

Does anyone know anything about John McCormack Avenue in particular?

Are there specific areas people would recommend in Walkinstown?


Any comment, advice etc would be much appreciated.

Hi, I'm from nearby, its a very quiet and settled area with mostly elderly population, near to Ashleaf shopping centre and a short drive to town. Some of the houses on that road have lane access and large back gardens. Some houses backing on to John Mccormack Ave from Cromwellsfort road have built mews type houses in arden wth access from the back lane.

As a matter of interest is the avenue called after the famous singer and if yes why?

Yes its after the singer, there are a couple of roads known as the musical roads eg Percy French.

I'm also interested in buying in Walkinstown, does anyone have an idea on the Limekiln area?
