hi there!

i left my last job in order to find a job more closely linked to what i have a degree in. as i left my job am i still entitled to Jobseekers Allowance/Benefit?

Also, i am based in D3 so is it the office in North Cumberland st i need to go to?

And finally...it says on welfare.ie that i need my birth cert. will a passport not suffice?

If you are looking for work and available for work you can apply for Jobseeker's Benefit/Allowance. If you left your job without good cause, you MAY be disqualified for up to nine weeks from the date of leaving. Your local ofice is North Cumberland Street. Your passport should suffice as verification of your date of birth as it has already been verified on it.
