i am claiming jobseakers allowance and just had a letter to say the 182 days have ran out my partner is working full time and i have been actively looking for jobs in office work as i am doing part time collage courses in this field. I am worried that they give me the allowance again can anyone help with advise about jobseakers or any other benifits i would be able to claim if not ???

after 182 day they stop the allowance and you have to reaply

Jobseeker's Allownace does not "run out". It is means tested and as long as you fulfil conditions, it continues to be paid. You may be on Jobseeker's BENEFIT which is based on PRSI paid and this will exhaust after 12 months (312 days) or 15 months (390) days. This 182 days "running out" puzzles me. Can you explain more?
