After years on a student lifestyle,
Yes they are in their early 20s, which is why I mentioned the student lifestyle. However accommodation isn't discounted for 20 somethings and they aren't living on crisps. They can afford to travel, socialise etc.So, they are in their early 20s?
The OP is in his/her early 30s and probably doesn't want to eat crisp sandwiches anymore.

Do you have any debts that you need to service?I have heard horror stories of the costs of Ireland. Will this be enough to live a life?
Renting is not just very expensive but there is very little available.
I’d take all of that with a pinch of salt.My son and my niece have both moved to Dublin in the last year, to take up employment at a salary about half this.
They both found accommodation after much looking. After years on a student lifestyle, they now can't spend all the money they earn.
€65,000 starting salary for someone with no responsibilites is fine. The biggest issue is rent and finding somewhere to live. If you want your own place, you will obviously pay a lot more than if you are sharing a house with others. After that, it's down to how expensive your lifestyle is. If you go out a lot and spend in high end shops, you'll have no problem spending all your money.Hello,
I am not Irish and have never lived in your country but I have recently been offered a job in Dublin on a basic salary of 60k and a contractually guaranteed 5k bonus so 65k per annum earnings I suppose.
I am in my early 30s, single with no children.

Sorry if this wrong place.
If you renting in Ireland in 1 bed apartment if you do not want to share, rent minimum 2k a month, 24K a year, So to take home 24K a year in Ireland on 40% tax bracket , you need to earm minimum 40K ish. 60K a year as per PWC Calculator is about 3,700 net a month . No pension, no Health Care included in calculation.Hello,
