Job change and mortgage application.

In our mortgage application the bank wasn't accepting one of my wife's jobs as the contract is casual, would it be ok to leave this job as they aren't using it to bring up the amount of the mortgage. If she leaves it frees her up to do more of her self employed work to still being money in. Any advice appreciated

No issue if the income wasn't included as part of application. They might look for evidence of the income that is included if you want to extend the application. They will ask you to sign a declaration before drawdown that your circumstances haven’t changed. But again no issue if they are including that income.
