This will be presented as an RDS - Irish Times public science lecture in association with The Irish Skeptics Society.

He is most famous for his Million dollar prize for anyone who can demonstrate supernatural abilities under controlled conditions and for his encounters with Uri Geller. He was
the subject of a recent BBC Horizon programme that examined the claim that water retains a memory of substances dissolved in it after the solution has been diluted to the point where nothing of the solute remains.

The $1m prize was up for grabs, but wasn't won!

Randi is a highly stimulating and entertaining speaker and is a
magician of renown as well as being among the most famous skeptics.
