IT Surveys are silly

The IT have fairly bombarded us with their latest survey. Front page news. Editorial comment. Inside story. Having paid for the survey they have to milk it, I suppose.

But consider this, according to the survey Bertie is up 9%, Mary is up 8%, Enda is up 13%, Pat is up 5%, Trevor is up 4% and Grizzly is up 8%. So what does that tell us - absolutely nothing except that people must have been in a good mood the day the poll was taken.

IT Surveys are silly, yes, but they are entertaining and help sell newspapers.

Was the poll taken while the Dail was on Holidays?
If so it tells us we are all much happier when we don't have to listen to them.

The different jumps in approval represent how happy we were to be rid of each leader.
