Issues registering to ROS to file Form 11

AFAIK you have to register for Income Tax (technically not the same as PAYE/PRSI) first before you can register for ROS

You should complete a manual Form TR1 (I don't think you can register online yourself) and send it to Revenue and when they write back to say you have been registered then you can register for ROS
I don't know how long it currently takes for Revenue to respond

Alternatively an accountant can register you for Income Tax using their ROS login and it should only take a couple of days

If a PAYE taxpayer earns e5,001 deposit interest, in Ireland, do you declare this on Form 12 and Form 11 - no other non-PAYE income to declare?
Its a one-off interest earning. So would they have to file the TR1 form. then register for ROS (as well as myaccount) just to declare the one-off interest, which could be put on the existing Form12?

Is the 5k amount net of DIRT or gross before DIRT?
