There's a van going around dublin city centre today with a loud recording of Mary Lou McDonald urging people to vote "no".

I thought this type of canvassing wasn't allowed today.

It wasn't allowed yesterday. i.e. the day before voting no media coverage. Not sure if there's any reason why not today.

Its allowed but there are rules about how far canvassers are allowed to be from a polling station.

Is there rule about posters within a certain radius of the polling station?

eh, isn't she a bit late?

Respective parties are allowed to canvass up to polling day but cannot do so within 250m or so of the polling station. The moratorium refers to the media only.
