1) Key in the first three digits of your phone number into a calculator, (do not use your area code number or mobile prefix)
2) Multiply by 80
3) Add one
4) Multiply by 250
5) Plus last four digits of your phone number
6) Plus last four digits of your phone number again
7) Minus 250
8) Divide by 2

Is it your phone number?

.

Big deal - the multiplication by 80 and 25 (80 x 25 = 2000) simply shifts the first three digits up sufficiently so the addition of the remaining four digits yields the number itself. The rest is all just obfuscation. No magic!

big deal

..and there was me thinking there was some um heap big juju goin on in the background.
