Is this broadband speed ok?

Its for a company that does wireless broadband in Cahir Co, Tipperary.

I presently use a Vodafone 3g modem and was wondering if anyone knows if this is faster or slower than that at 3.6mb per sec?

There are 4 of us in the house using the modem and I havent been able to figure out how to set it up so that we can all router off the one modem. So it is getting a bit annoying when someone wants to use the broadband for long periods of time.

Thanks

Why not test it yourself? From what I've read about these wireless broadband services your mileage may vary considerably. And many people seem to report that they can often fall back to just about better than dial-up speeds.

I thought that those wireless modems were only usable by one person/PC/laptop? If that is the case then the only way to share the connection might be using something like Windows Internet Connection Sharing which is a lot messier than having a proper LAN giving shared access to an internet link.

To share a Vodafone modem connection you can purchase a device that will do the trick fro you if you don't want to use ICS as suggested by ClubMan, see [broken link removed] for an example.
