Is this benefit tourism?

What I want to know is if I give this persons full name, address, dob and her partners full name, address, the partners dob, the partners place of work address and position. Their car registration and their previous address in Europe (including street name) would the social welfare actually act on it?

If you have all this information, I'm sure the SW would be interetsed - but do you mind me asking how on earth you got some much information as you don't seem to be in any way close to them? The SW will need to be able to establish that the partner is in fact living in the house, and as they have been reported before it is likily that they have all the bills in her name.

The SW are (finally) starting to act of real cases of SW fraud.

On the flip side, there is a strong sense on ongoing hositility between you & the neighbour. She will face a few months of investigation & possibily have her payments cut off which will cause hassle for her wellbeing (not to mention her landlord!).

So be sure of your facts and be happy in yourself that you are not just being malious.

for the 'benefit' of us thicks / me/ can you elaborate, no offence meant by the way. And as the father of a son, with Downs Syndrome, an irish citizen, whose parents are both fully tax compliant, and is not entitled to even a medical card, I'd say REPORT WHAT YOU KNOW!
 
You can forward any details you have to the Dept of Social and Family Affairs, who will carry out an investigation.
 
Report it anonymously giving all the details you know. It will be investigated fully and the more info. you supply, the better chance of a successful prosecution.

(As an aside, I cannot understand how so many posters have stories such as yours and yet hesitate to report them to the authorities, instead posting here and asking for 'advice'. I always wonder what is the real reason? Testing people's reactions?)
 
Well said Welfarite, some people seem to have issues,paticulary with lone parents, maybe not even 'people' but a 'person' posting under different names ?
 
Well said wefarite, its the genuine people that get delayed in payment or indeed denied, because of the high amount of fraudsters .... if anyone is aware of any fraud going on there should be absolutely no hesitation.
