I think that's the scratch cards - max 10 cards.I had not bought Lotto tickets before. The guy in the Mace shop told me that the most I could buy was €20 a day.

Based on recent results and on the theoretical odds for each line and not allowing for a big jump in sales.Is there any downside to a big punt on this?

With hindsight the mark up was little over 100%
My estimate about €19m was spent and slightly over €28m was paid out.OK, so it was still worth doing?
I think you are missing the non monetary benefits. You enjoyed your dice with €20m, didn't you? Who enjoys being a landlord?My €10 investment brought a return of minus 100%.
And people here say residential buy-to-let is a bad investment.
