Hi,

As the question suggests - Irish Life Health 'Best Smart' policy with Dental benefit. Online says:

Dentist Visits. €25 per visit, unlimited.

Retainers & fitted gum shields: €25 contribution.
You currently have up to €25 remaining.

Emergency Dental Care: €350 contribution.
You currently have up to €350 remaining.

X-ray, check up, scale and polish: €50 x 1 visit.
1 visit remaining at €50 per visit.

Orthodontic benefit. Up to €100 per policy year.

Member is 18. When I rang to query, I L H said, yes but a treatment like that would come under a procedure and I should get the procedure code. Dentist says there's no such code and it's not an emergency. Root canal cost €650 over 2 visits - appears to me that I can only recover €25 per visit. However with specific additional dental cover under a policy, this kind of treatment not being unusual - I thought it might be covered?

I know about revenue aspect.

Thanks
