Key Post Is profitable property possible at the moment?

I have added a link to the original piece and the Sunday Times comment

After reading this the thought occurred to me that while property is slow to liquidate from a capital point of view it is much more liquid form a cashflow point of view. If the broker goes south or the bank gets in a pickle and you have to go claiming or courting its a nightmare. At least with property its straight cash rent each month and if theres a problem with that then notice to quit, bye and start again with a new tenant.
