is it possible to hide isp address?

i have a relative who wishes to watch rte tv shows online, they live in the us and some of the shows are only for roi residents, any way to hide us isp address ?

Assuming that it's not illegal or in breach of their terms & conditions to do this (I have no idea so check it out yourself)...

You need some sort of proxy service. An anonymizer service may help:

Or just Google for information about how people do this for other sites (e.g. BBC content limited to UK addresses).

Only use reputable proxy services and beware of nefarious ones.

Thanks clubman, i have also seen that the bbc are going to offer an international version of there i player, maybe rte could also offer an international version for irish expats.
