Is it possible to buy a Skype number and divert to an Irish Mobile?

Has anyone done this? I haven't used Skype and its not clear from the website if this is possible. If it is possible, what are the costs involved?

It's definitely possible to forward to an Irish mobile number - there are a few steps involved in this:

• Get a Skype online number (the number you want people to dial)
• Buy some Skype credit (to pay for the call forwarding - see below)

You'll be charged for the following:

• The Skype online number - this is an annual payment
• Per minute, plus a connection fee, for each call forwarded - this is charged at the standard Skype rates (€ 0.16 per minute for Irish mobiles at the time of writing)
