Appologies in advance if this gets convoluted.

I am resident in Ireland, and I am self-employed.

My main client in the UK wants to "employ me", place me on a salary inthe UK. My residential status will not change.
On average I will spend 10-12 days per month inthe UK.

I am planning on maintiaing my self employed status, however the work for the above client will no longer be Invoiced as it will be a paid salary.
The salary would be taxed at source ( uk ).

How do i deal withthe tax or does anyone have a link to information that covershow the tax is dealt with?
Are there any problems with the above?

Thanks in advance

Based on the inforamtion above, you will be resident both in Ireland and the UK and will have to file returns in both jurisdictions.

As a UK resident you will be taxable on your UK arising income. However, you may be able to exclude your Irish income if you are treaty resident in Ireland - this is a complex UK return to complete.

As an Irish resident, you will be liable to Irish tax on your UK income, with a credit for any UK tax paid. However, you may be entitled to Trans Border Relief, but this will depend on your circumstances.

This is a complex issue and you should seek professional advice.
