My pension administrator has told me that they have been informed from Irish Life that my life assurance group policy has a potential benefit over the 1.8M limit that doesn't require medical assessment.
So looking here: https://www.irishlifecorporatebusiness.ie/group-life-assurance and reading the guide. We are 50-200 people so it's a one and done assessment I presume but if I am rejected then it's just am limited to 1.8M which isn't ideal.
I am going to do the assessment but my question is does this 1.8M factor in all my Irish Life pensions as I have them all listed in pension planet or just the one for my current employer? It would be great to know this.
