Invoice - 3 years later?

Had work done 3 years ago and have received an invoice for this now. Had forgotton about it - can someone bill you after this time ??
 
Why dont you just pay it if you dont dispute the actual invoice?
 
You had work done, you dont seem to have an issue with the cost so why not pay up? In real terms it's cheaper now then three years ago?
