Investment mortgage-good fixed interest rate?

Hi all

I have an investment mortgage, currently at a variable rate of 3.85%

I have decided to fix for peace of mind.

The fixed rates are:
2yr 4.2%
3yr 4.3%
5yr 4.95%

I'm tempted to fix for 5 years, is this a good rate?

Are they the actual rates of the APRs?

4.95% over 5 years is the lowest 5 yr fixed rate I am aware of (If it's not APR) APR is pretty meaningless when comparing fixed rates.

You are probably going to have trouble switching provider unless your LTV is low. So if it is a choice between the 3 and 5 year - the difference is small enough to make the 5 year fix look good.

Just checked the letter...

2yr 4.2% APR 4.0%
3yr 4.3% APR 4.1%
5yr 4.95% APR 4.5%

Glad to hear the 5yr rate is low compared to what's out there, I think I'm going to grab it and run!
