With the recent discussion on possible Euro de-valueation, the upcoming budget and the uncertainity of the States ability to keep the finances afload, I'm more than concerned. My little nest egg is all I have and no possibility of future earnings. I'm wondering if it would be wise to take my funds from PO bonds and certs and whats left in the bank shares and buy sterling, Canadain and US dollars. Don't know where to go or who to ask. Any suggestions would be gratefully and graciously appreciated
Thanks Laoisa

Ten years ago this month, the Euro was worth 87cents USD. Now it is worth $1.28 having been more than $1.50 last year. The euro has also improved v GBP in the same period. Hard to recommend moving out of euro as a long-term home for your nest-egg.
