I've recently come into a substantial inheritance (circa €150,000), and I'm wondering where would be the best place to invest. Interest rates in banks are running below inflation, a bubble is supposedly developing in gold, the stock market is risky (as well as a big mystery), and the Euro seems to be teetering on the brink of collapse. I'm hoping to protect the value of my money at a minimum, but generating additional income from it would be my desired goal. Diversification is obviously key. Any and all suggestions are welcome.
