Investing in Spain

Hi All,

I am considering investing in a property in Spain and am looking for advice from anyone who has gone through the process abroad.

Is it easy/hard, are there any significant hidden charges, are the Spaniards helpful when people from abroad are purchasing property from them, etc.?

Any advice/suggestions/past experiences would be greatly appreciated.

it will be easier to buy than to sell. Check community fees, taxes and SUMA, allow price +10.5% to get in.
Community fees are important as they vary between communities, for example, do they pay for elevators, lighting inc public lights & elevator stairs lights, is there many not currently contributing ( I know they will charge against unit sales but who pays in the mean time)
