Investing in Agriculture Land

Hi All

I want to buy some argiculture land at a cost of 150k. I have some savings amounting to about 15k.

I have 2 properties 1 in the NI valued @ 78k and a mortgage of 38k
the other mortgage of 210k & valued at 350k.

Both at interest only.

I'm told that you can't actually get a mortgage for buying agriculture land and i'm now wondering how do you go about buying land that doesn't have planning permission on it.

Do you intend farming the land? or is this just a speculative purchase?
