What do you think of this package.

"100% Capital Protection at Maturity" - what about capital protection during the life of the policy???

"100% participation with up to 40% growth (Gross C.A.R. 9.39%)".
I take it this is the most you can earn, but there is no projected min.
Im getting 3.53% (4.7% eqivalent) with on Post at moment, safe as you can get.

You'll not find any 100% capital protection on any investment during the life of the product. This is because normally the majority of it is invested at a fixed rate to accrue to 100% on maturity. The rest is used to buy investments such as options or futures. These are the risk portion of the investment and provide for any additional growth, your return. If the options don't cut it and don't provide a return, then on maturity you can at least get your 100% capital back. If you need access during the term then a product like that won't suit you. You alternative is cash deposit , but expect a low return as you are not prepared to take a riskier strategy.
