Invalidity pension and hospital stay?

A relative of mine is on long term Invalidity Pension. If they are hospitalised for a period of time, are they still entitled to the full Invalidity Pension while they are in hospital?
They are also on Rent Allowance, I believe they can still get this for up to 13 weeks while in hospital?

There is no problem in continuing to get Invalidity Pension while hospitalised.

Rent Supplement can be paid for up to 13 weeks while the person is in hospital, you are correct. The CWO should be notified when your relative goes into hospital, just in case there are any problems collecting payments or returning review forms (which may issue during the hospital stay).
