Interpreting measurements of DIY kitchen components

Hi

Was up in B&Q and now have what seems to be a great deal in kitchen wall and base units. Our measurements/dimensions seems to be OK but one question:

E.g. 1000mm base unit - straightforward - width is 1000mm, but what about a corner unit? We bought a 925mm one - what is the 925 exactly: is it the combined measurement of the outer circumference of each section of the 'L' if you know what I mean - or if not, what?

Thanks

C

I'd guess it is the width of the unit? Do they have left corner and right corner units? These items are specced in 2D as you look straight at it usually and have standard depths.

OK, but the combined measurement of the 2 sections of the door side or where the unit(s) meet the wall?

These are usually 925 along both the back and side walls. So Depth and width are both 925. But did you mean 625?

Sorry, maybe I'm slow - but do you mean it's 925 + 925 i.e. - a width of 925 for each section that is against the wall?

the unit is 925 by 925.the 2 parts of the L are 925 long each.so if you look at the corner of your kitchen the unit will come out 925mm on each wall
