Have just bought new interior doors, complete with archetraves, door frames etc. Does anyone have any idea what the going rate is for hanging each door, there are 5 doors (one double set) in otal. Various companies have been quoting upwards of 2000 euro which I thought was excessive.......
 
hi where do you live? the price seems very high what type of doors are they and are they been fitted in an old hose or a new house? are the doors per hung?
 
I had doors and frames & locks/handles hung recently. The carpenter managed two doors per day. So multiple what you think is carpenter daily wages per the number of doors and see where you are.

I live in Co. Kildare. I live in a 8 year old house. At present there are the white cheap doors that came with the house when it was bought. I have bout oak doors complete with frames archetraves handles (didn't bother buying locks since I don't need them)
ANyone any advice/ recommendations
 
You didnt say who was removing old doors frames etc, I would recommend you do this , as the chippie will have to charge.

80 YoYos per door to fit frame door and locks , dont pay anymore .
