Insurance for 5 a side soccer

Hi there!
I'm wondering if any one could help re an insurance quote for public liability for 5-a side soccer in a school gym.The policy is for public liability.The quote from the brokers is for E356(on closer exam of the policy,this includes a brokerage charge is E50(ie ~ 16%).
This to me seems outrageous.I was wondering if anybody had any experience of getting a cheaper quote.I think the brokerage firm are trying to fob me off by saying companies aren't interested in such poilicies?
 
Don't think that they are fobbing you off. There is a very limited market for this type of risk, probably just one insurer.

If they didn't charge the fee they would probably get about €25 in commission, and for that, it might not be worth it to them to handle the business.
 
you could always try the school insurers. they might be able to do a better deal as they already hold the main PL on the premises.
