Hi
In a nutshell can anyone summarise what the details of the insulation scheme announced by Government recently please

If i want to add more insulation to my attic - 3 bed semi - circa 1000 sq feet - can i get any grant for doing this and how do i go about applying and how is grant given - tax relief etc

the process is not open for applying just yet but you can register your interest via

You will need to apply for the grant directly to SEI once they open for applications.

If you are approved you will need to get a contractor (from the registered list) to carry out the work. You pay them then recoup the grant from SEI.

Attic insulation grant is €250

Do you know when SEI will open for accepting applications or if there any proposed timeline for when this will happen?
