I am looking for advice for my employment rights, please. I have been on a return to work schedual for a year after a bad road traffic accidient. I am almost back to full time work but I have now been told that my case is under review (as i am on 30 hours per week and not in my original position). The outcome could mean that I could be given a few months to find a job internally or I will have to leave (this is not possible as they are looking for redundencies). I have changed position (which suits my Manager and he has no complaints) but not officially and even though my employer says I havent returned to my original position (due to pain and physical probs), I have never been so busy. They say this position does not have enough work to sustain me. Can my employer then sack me as I have restrictions even though I have shown that I can do a lot with my restrictions and I have had great reviews from my Manager. I am very worried as I have a family and especially in the present climate and with my restrictions I would find it very hard to get another job.
