inheritance- sharing with people not mentioned in will

i am the main beneficiary/joint executor of a relatives will.
i feel there are a couple of close relatives who were not left anything but should have been. can i legally distribute some money (which would otherwise come to me), to them directly from the eatate, thereby allowing them to utilize their inh tax allowances. the other executor wouldnt have an issue as he is one of them.

Depends on the wording of the will and the relationships, there is a possibility of partial disclaimer. Otherwise a deed of family arrangement but this may be seen as a gift from you to them so different thresholds may apply and may not be as tax efficient.
