Hi.
I have a question regarding legal issues in a separation.
My brother in law got married 4 years ago and he's now separated. They had a child 2 years ago and he's giving her more than the child maintenance. She doesn't want to look after the child over the WE and he ends up minding him everytime.
His wife made him leave the appt. We helped them financially and she doesn't want to repay anything back. although she's on a decent salary
My parents in law are in their late 70s and they haven't done a will which we strongly recommended them to do.
What would she be entitled to if my parents in law die and he inherits his stake ?
Would she be entitled to 1/2 of his assets ? She showed a particular interest in the house and said a few times that she could see herself move in one day
She doesn't have any intentions to divorce.
He doesn't have a clue.
