Indoor TV Ariel

Hi all, im looking for a little advise please.

My parents live in a rural area without any cable link type provider connection. The currently have a sky box but are getting rid of it as its costing a fortune.

The will now need to pick up RTE/ TV3 etc on another ariel.

Could anyone recommend an indoor ariel they could use to set these stations up? Dont really like the idea of my dad on the roof trying to set it up.

i tried those on a spare tv, the reception was desperate really bad, wouldnt mind spending a few bob extra on something that would give better reception and not look awful in the sitting room...

Why not contact their local TV shop to see will they set up an aerial on the roof for them? This might solve the issue if they are in a suitable area, although the reception might not be great...

Just cancel the Sky subscription, you keep the box and satellite and get loads of free channels.
