india investment trusts

has anyone invested in any of the Indian investment trusts? If so, any recommendations? I see rabo are offering one with M.L. Not sure if I would go with them though, on account of their recent losses due to the US subprime problem.

Eagle Star's [broken link removed] just buys an ETF so you might just want to buy the ETF yourself. Standard Life are launching an India Equity fund in the next week or two. Irish Life offer [broken link removed].

Thanks, LD. The India etf seems to look ok as a longer investment (5+ years). I think I will avoid China-related fund in longer run though.Am a little hesitant to invest in China, apart from the run up to the olympics (then take a view on their economy, post-olympics)
