Incorrect Form 11 Submission 2010 - How to correct

I have heard recently that maternity benefit is taxable from this year. When completing my Form 11 in 2010 I treated my wife's maternity benefit as taxable income. I therefore believe that I am due a rebate. What would be the best way to go about correcting the tax return?

Write to Revenue explaining the error and asking them to amend your notice of assessment accordingly. Include some documentary evidence of the maternity benefit.

If you filed the return online it can be amended on ROS
