Income levy on DC scheme vs. PRSA

Is there a difference between the income levy on employer contributions to a DC scheme vs a PRSA. I've been researching and it looks to me like I would have to pay the income levy on an employer's contribution to a PRSA but not to a DC scheme - but that would seem really unfair - pay more tax on the way in but pay the same tax on the way out?

You are correct. Income Levy is paid on employers contributions to PRSAs.
This was never the intension, but I believe due to a drafting error/oversight in the wording of the Income Levy legislation!
