Hello,

we just moved us and our business recently from Berlin to Ireland - we are running couple of online sites and make are income through them.

We have couple of question and are in need to talk to someone who has experiences with those kind of business.

We live on County Mayo.

And here is my first question ... I just went to a business trip to the US - how and what can I deduct?

You can deduct the lot if it is "wholly and exclusively" for the business or what ever portion was.

Thank you for the answer ... is there a daily allowence I can deduct for food example?

Try looking at the Revenue's website for information relating to tax. www.revenue.ie. This link is the link to useful income tax publications by the Irish Revenue Commissioners which may be the most relevant.

Given that you are setting up a business in Ireland I think you should seek professional advice from an accountant or tax advisor who should be able to provide you with the answers to your queries.
