Hello. My wife and I are immigrating to Australia and are thinking of selling up. Can anyone recommend a good finacial advisor in the Galway city region that could assist in advising on the necessary steps required to insure a smooth move.

Or does anyone have any lists or tips re selling your property closing bank accounts, opening an oz bank account and the most advantageous way
to hold or transfer funds...thank you mulmon

Don't want to redirect traffic but www.aussiemove.com is one of the more active immigration forums. Although most of the traffic is from UK/Oz residents it is a good source of info for the more generic things like fund transfer, removals, etc.

I'm using migration.ie, met them at a free seminar and said that my visa will be organised in 6 months. They're in Australia too and seem pretty cool. Their contact details are on the site [broken link removed]
