I'm being reduced to a 2 to 3 day working week

I'm going to be reduced to a 2 or 3 day working week, what benefits would i be able to claim for? What would they be worth?

I've never had any dealings with the social welfare before, any advise would be greatly appreciated.

AFAIK, on meeting the criteria, you will be able to sign on for the days you don't work - casual labour so to speak.

Dont think you will be entitled to anything. You can only get Job Seekers Benefit if you are available for full time work.
Are you available for full time work or is it part time?

As long as you haven't asked to have your hours reduced you should be fine.
