Illness benefit -> jobseekers allowance

Hi

I was on jobseekers allowance then got sick and moved to IB (signed off until today) and now I am moving back to JA, what's the easiest way of doing this? I logged into mywalfare account but I can't see an easy way of doing this, any help would be gratefully received.

yes indeed but that's for a new application I was wondering do I need to do that given I had an active claim then went to IB, can I not reactivate the original claim?

They will obviously know about your history on JA and then JB so I would expect that you just use that link to apply. Especially if there doesn't seem to be any other suitable link.

BTW was it actually Jobseeker's Allowance that you were on and not Jobseeker's Benefit? Just seems odd that you would qualify for Illness Benefit but not JB.
